Fun Beatle History - Part 2
- After the success of the single"Love me do", the Beatles rushed to record their first album "Please please me" , the words were irrelevant and the main issue was to create a sound. The album reached number 1 in the UK charts and sold three quarters of a million of copies in a matter of weeks.
- In 1963, The band started to preform in the UK and their popularity grew, a frenzied adulation took place, called Beatlemania.Each performance and public appearances was greeted with riots of screaming fans.As a result, thousands of policeman found themselves fighting the crowds with high pressure fire hoses in order to protect the band.
- The second album to be produced was called "With the Beatles" and it was the second album in all time history to reach a million copies in sales with smashing hits such as "I want to hold your hand".

Fun Beatle history - part 1
- The band first started out with the names such as " long John and the Beetles" and "Johnny and the Moondogs" before finally coming up with the name the "Beatles" in 1960.
- They started off playing in Hamburg that same year, and quickly got deported back to England, the reasons being Harrison's young age and McCartney getting arrested for arsony charges that had to do with a nailed condom in their hotel room.
- In 1962, their stardom began.. they appointed Brian Epstein to be their manager and went to record their first two singles being " Love me Do" and " P.S I love you". It was during this time that the last Beatle joined the group - Ringo Starr and finalized what was to be the greatest band of all times.
- The two sigles became reached the top 20 UK hit and became to get noticeable, it was then that Epstein started to sense their commercial potential and encouraged the band to adopt a professional attitude.

Beatles in Israel
Beatles are very popular in Israel. you can meet fans anywhere, grafiti in the streets of tel aviv, hear thire music on the radio and eveb Paul Mccartny made an apperence a couple of years ago. In addition, there are several bands who appear live and play thier music such as " the magical mystery tour" and many others.
on a personal note, i used to teach guitar and my favorite rythims were teaching the beatles to children and spreading thier music and world views. The way in which they lives and performed will br remembered for the ages and will ring constitly in our hearts...

Some interesting facts
won 7 Grammy awards, the Beatles toured around the internationally in 64 and played 32 concerts around Europe and Asia. The group suffered some serious backlash by religious groups after Lennon proclaimed that they are more popular than Jesus, and maybe they were. Some of the bands influence included Elvis Presley,Chuck Davis, Billy Holly and Bob Dylan. The Beatles started as a skiffle band, gut quickly changed the theme into a rock n rock. The Beatles performed "All you need is love" to a world wide television viewers on "Our world" - the first time live global television link which was revolutionary to those days.
